Meet the instructor

Laura Kenison

Laura grew up in Logan, Utah. In 2016, she earned a dual Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She has experience in classrooms ranging from infants to 6th grade. She spent two years working at the daycare on Utah State University's campus, spending most of her time with 2 and 3 year olds. She then spent two years teaching 4th Grade in Preston, Idaho. Although her original interest was in the younger grades, she grew to love 4th grade and the in-depth discussions they had on a variety of topics. In 2019, Laura became a Mom and now enjoys chasing her son around and teaching him about the world around him. She enjoys making time to paint, spending endless amounts of time with family and friends, and getting overly excited about finding the best deals at the grocery store.
