Family Style Dining

Children rely on you to offer healthy food choices and model healthy lifestyles. Understanding what to eat and how much to eat are important skills for young children to learn. Family-style dining offers the opportunity for children to learn how to choose healthy foods in age-appropriate portions, as well as the social skills used during dining. Together we will explore how to create safe, healthy and enjoyable mealtime experiences for children and families. Learners will develop an understanding of components needed to create a pleasant environment.
